Pop Art... It is one of those thing in the art world I worship and adore. 

I love the aesthetics of comic designs and so in my spare time (I was really bored) I summoned all of my makeup and created a comic face.

Pink Dip- Dyed Hair

Once upon a time I had bleach blonde hair... well it wasn't even that long ago, but I was a total color fanatic. Reds, blues, pinks, every color under the rainbow, I had it in my hair. Just a few months ago I colored my hair back to my original color because my poor hair has been through soooo much I'm surprised I haven't even damaged it much.

 I constantly colored my hair dramatically from browns to blondes, I mean my hair has seen a lot of lightener. So for now I'm trying to get my hair healthy again and grow out all the unhealthy dead stuff because believe it or not I have a chemical cut.. It looks like I have layers in my hair and this and that ,but scissors have not touched my hair in a longgg time.

I look back to my blonde days though and I miss being able to put crazy colors in my hair because it was always a way to express myself. Anyways here is a couple photos of when I dip dyed my hair pink!

The color I used in my hair is by Beyond The Zone in the color Raspberry Kamikaze.
And when this hair color starts fading it turns into the prettiest baby pink!
Love this stuff!

The Sexy 40's Mani

I love everything 40's from the hair to clothes and especially the nails, so it comes as no surprise when I say I have an overwhelming amount of red nail colors in my nail polish collection.

Red was the go to color of the 40's... why? Cause it was sexy and the 40's was, in my opinion, sexy.

Red is also my go to color from lipstick to shoes cause I always wear tons of whites and blacks.

I love red nails and I love Chevron sooo... without further ado,

Vintage Goddess Hair

Summer should be nice and sunny not humid and sticky. The weather where I am is in the later category with a 99.99% chance of storms. So whatever ideas of having cute hair and pretty makeup you have can be thrown out the window real fast.

When I step outside the curls in my hair disappear and I'm left with a mane of frizz... ehh. I needed a cure and one fast, so I combined one of my favorite vintage updos (The Gibson Tuck) with a splash of goddess.

Lipstick Mania! My Top 5 Favorites

There are a lot of things in this world I favor; pastries, fashion, and the list goes on, but if there's one thing in this world I favor the most, it is lipstick.
I am a total lipstick nut and I feel lipstick is a way for me to reflect my mood and personality, and it is also something that really pulls a look together.

I have compiled a list of my Top 5 Favorite Lipsticks/ Lip Products
Here they are in no particular order:

 YSL Rogue Pur Couture (06) Rose Bergamasque

This lipstick is the perfect shade of nude for me, it has a pinkish peachish touch to it that makes it subtle but also noticeable. Since I've bought it, I have worn it everywhere. It's the perfect lipstick for any-time of day and outfit.

 Urban Decay Super- Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in F-BOMB

I wear a lot and I mean A LOT of red lipstick. Of all the red lipsticks I wear, F-BOMB is definitely my favorite because it is long lasting and it is a perfect shade of Red, not too bright and not too dark.
I came across this lipstick when I was in Sephora and was looking at The OZ Great And Powerful makeup compact that Urban Decay came out with. In the Theodora compact there was a red super-saturated lip color that I loved but Sephora didn't sell separately, so I compared that red to other reds and F-BOMB was almost an exact match.

 CoverGirl (325) Spellbound

Every time I look at this lipstick I ask myself  "Why did you even buy this shade, it's purple for crying out loud", then I put it on and I'm like "Oh Yeah, that's why. It's a gorgeous shade!".
This lipstick is definitely for daredevils, It's the perfect pinkish purple shade and I absolutely love wearing this whenever I'm in a daring mood and it is also the perfect summer shade.

 Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede (035) Backstage

When I bought this lipstick I seen the advertisement with Olivia Wilde wearing this shade and I thought "OMG I need that color!" This lipstick makes me a very happy woman, it is a matte lipstick, but do not let the shade of the actual color stick fool you. This shade is a dark red, and I am not kidding. But I really love this color because I wear a lot of whites and this color looks absolutely perfect contrasting with the whites.

Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Glinda

I bought this lipstick in the Urban Decay The Oz Great And Powerful compact. As you can tell I have worn this shade down quite a bit. This color is definitely a pinkish muave color. This color is such a simple color and I wear it really all the time any time of the day.

(Little I.E- The Super-Saturated Lip Colors are ultra glossy, but the longer you wear the color it turns into the perfect matte color. These colors are highly pigmented especially the red that is also in this post. These lippies are great because you can also sharpen them. I highly recommend these!)

Manicure Monday: For The Love Of Carnations!

The start of a new week.... but that's okay because it's Manicure Monday!
I use to do MM's a while ago and the motivation of doing it just wasn't enough anymore, but now I'm back to doing it.

I am never shy when it comes to my nails, so any colors or designs I'm up to try. This week I decided to keep my nails pretty simple, but I added a pop of color. I wear a lot of blacks and whites, so I always leave it to my nails to really finish off my look... it's the final touch and that pop of color really is a attention getter.

The pink I'm wearing this week is by O.P.I and it is called Suzi's Hungary Again!. I bought this nail polish in the Euro Centrale collection, which comes with many other beautiful colors that I also bought.

 I love this pink because it reminds me of pink carnations, and lately I have been inspiring a lot of my looks from flowers.

Who doesn't love flowers?
