Untitled Film Stills

My first semester has finally come to an end, and with that was taking a week and a half full of exams and turning in projects. For my final project for my photography class I was really inspired by Cindy Sherman's Untitled Film Stills, so I decided to base my final project off of roles women play in Hollywood Film.
This project was a roller coaster. From scene manipulation to creating various cliche roles, I learned so much from this photoshoot. I learned what it was like to be at both ends of the camers. It was a very new experience because I work so well behind the lens and stepping in front of the lens for the first time, I learned there is alot of hardwork being the model as well. Of course I guess I had a hard lesson in being a model since I did this project solely myself, but doing this photoshoot has not only push my boundaries, but it has taught me things that I will continually use in the future.

Be bold, do something uncomfortable, whether you succeed or fail there is always something you will learn from it. -Yasmine Brooke

Pop Art Comic Book Makeup

Pop Art... It is one of those thing in the art world I worship and adore.
I love the aesthetics of comic designs and so in my spare time (I was really bored) I summoned all of my makeup and created a comic face.

You have to do stuff average people don't understand because those are the only good things.

Castle Adventures!

For this semester in college I took up a photography class, no surprise there, and every week my professor gives us a assignment each week that focuses on different perspectives of photography. This weeks assignment was focusing on Point-Of-View and Framing. At the end of the week we have to put up our best 15 photos for critique, so I thought it'd be fun to include you guys in on these different assignments and see what I'm doing! Without further ado, here is my Favorites!

During the past weekend I went with my family camping at this beautiful place and I happen to stop by this farmers market (hence all the animals and food) and then somehow I ended up running into a castle (hence the statues and mid evil styles photos)... Overall it was an adventurous weekend and loved it, but I am glad to be back in the city :)
